Second part of “Active Ladies First!” project is done

On 10th and 11th June Novi Sad School of Journalism has implemented the second phase of the project “Active Ladies First!”. The aim of this phase was to provide the girls with the knowledge about politics and social activism, negotiation, public presentation, female activism and ways to communicate with the government institutions by directly involving them with the government representatives.

In the Parliament of Vojvodina, they had a formal reception by the vice-president of the Parliament, Ms Maja Sedlarevic.

Deputy of Regional Ombudsman, Mr Stevan Arambasic welcomed them in the Pairlament of Vojvodina, gave them an insight on the importance of Ombudsman institution and had a discussion with the girls on different issues.

Mr Kalman Kuntic, the Deputy Executive Secretary of Secretariat for information and public relations, showed them how the press conference functions and how information are disseminated to regional media, and the participants had a chance to use the press room utilites and sit behind the speaker desks.

Zeljko Klajic from the Youth Office showed them some good examples of youth projects that the local office implemented, explained them how challenging it is to implelement all of the activities they usually plan.
