Finalized training in Backi Petrovac

The five-day training “Management and Development of NGOs and the successful management of adult education programs” was successfully completed in the Business incubator in Backi Petrovac.

The main goal of education was the introduction and promotion of these types of institutions, NGOs, acquiring knowledge in strategic planning, management and marketing skills and project cycle management (writing and project implementation).

Twelve participants listened to training in Slovak and Serbian language. Daniel Hull from the Centre for Development of NGOs in Slovakia, held a workshop on organization and strategy of the NGO sector, writing and implementation of projects according to the EU standards.
General Manager of Context Manufacturing, Dragan Ciric, talked about branding, marketing and management in the NGO sector. Saša Raletić, NSSJ trainer, led workshops on negotiation, administrative affairs and PR.

The last day of education, Marija Srdić from the Center for support of women, spoke on gender equality and women’s role in the NGO sector.

The training was carried out under the project “Women’s Entrepreneurship Academy – a smart investment into a program of lifelong learning for women”, which is supported by the European Union through the “Strengthening dialogue between civil society in Serbia and the EU” program. The training was organized by the Women’s Entrepreneurship Academy, Novi Sad School of Journalism and Development Association Horna Nitra in Slovakia.
