Empowering women for combating disinformation and digital violence August 2025 – February 2026

The goal of the project is to build capacities of young women to combat gender-based disinformation and gender based digital violence. 

Long term expected results are:

1) 40 educated women for false information debunking, deconstructing propaganda that promotes patriarchal gender roles, procedures for reacting on gender based digital violence and formulation of counter narratives that promote gender equality;

2) 4 outputs on gender equality implemented by workshop participants (social media campaigns; policy document; workshop for high-school students);

3) awareness raising campaign on gender stereotypes in popular media, triggers of hate speech towards women, consequences of unprofessional media reporting on women, and positive narratives that promote gender equality
