MEDUSA aims to create a European digital ecosystem and training programme for journalists and communication professionals on the effects of language and storytelling on the social perception of gender-based violence.
More specifically, MEDUSA will:
• Create a set of European tools for journalists and media professionals on language, narratives and bias.
• Develop a digital ecosystem + an application with training modules, videos, audio and certified micro-credentials.
• Introduce trauma training for those who work with difficult stories on a daily basis.
• Launch a European awareness campaign promoting fair, respectful and gender-sensitive reporting.

The project, with financial support from the European Union, is implemented by a consortium consisting of: Skill Up (Italy), the University of Wismar (Germany), INDEPCIE (Spain), Innovation Frontiers (Greece), Zonta E-Club (Latvia), and the Novi Sad School of Journalism.
