Novi Sad School of Journalism educates future policemen

Lecture on “Safety on the Internet – promotion of violence and lack of control mechanisms” was held on 26 October 2010. in the Center for Basic Police Training (COPO) in Sremska Kamenica.

Project coordinator for the security sector in the Novi Sad School of Journalism, Selena Tasic, held a lecture to high school students and their teachers from over ten schools in Serbia, who are working in the school newspaper editorial boards, as young reporters or editors. The focus of the lecture was diverting the attention of young, socially conscious high school students, to the problems and challenges in media coverage of cyber- violence and violence among youth in general.

The lecture was a part of the 9th annual Section meeting of journalists organized by a COPO.
