Webinar on disinformation

Within our project “Promoting Media Information Literacy and strengthening independent media in the Western Balkans” which is realized by Albany Associates (United Kingdom) and Mediacentar Sarajevo with Novi Sad School of Journalism and other organizations from Balkan recorded a webinar for journalists, fact-checkers, students of journalism and other actors from media scene. The webinar is about disinformation and content verification techniques.

We present to you three episodes within the webinar about disinformation. In the episode “Monitoring digital and social media”, viewers are able to see some online tools which could be used for disinformation debunking in different media content and formats. Episode “Video verification” will provide knowledge on how to verify pictures, photos, and videos, and the episode about “Malicious social media accounts” will teach viewers how to distinguish fake accounts and real people from algorithms pretending to be a real person.

Webinar was created as a part of a project “Promoting Media Information Literacy and strengthening independent media in the Western Balkans” which is realized by Albany Associates (United Kingdom) and Mediacentar Sarajevo with Novi Sad School of Journalism i Mediacentar Sarajevo (Bosna i Herzegovina) with Novi Sad School of Journalism (Serbia) and other organizations from region: KosovaLive 360 (Kosovo*), Macedonian Institute for Media (North Macedonia), Albanian Media Institute (Albania) and Montenegro Media Institute (Montenegro).
