Day in your shoes (2016)

Sixth time in a row, Novi Sad School of Journalism is implementing the project called “Day in your shoes”, designed so that the joint education, training and media production for journalism students and students with disabilities, improve the process of media production, placing emphasis on people with disabilities and their active presence in media sphere. This way we will achieve the disability sensitization and raise of society awareness about the needs and problems that youth with disabilities are faced with.

In the first, educational implementation phase, students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge about the proper and ethical news reporting, as well as the knowledge and skills necessary for the representation and self-representation in traditional and new media. In the second phase, 7 TV report will be created (6 student reports and one documentary reportage), and broadcasted on TV stations. Seminar participants will be students of journalism from the Faculty of Philosophy, as well as students with disabilities from the University of Novi Sad and the University of Niš.
