Debunking disinformation in South East Europe is the regional project, led by SEENPM (South East European Network for Professionalization of Media) which is being implemented in the Western Balkan region aiming to raise awareness about the quality of media reporting.
During the project implementation 40 young journalists and journalism students from the region will first acquire the knowledge and skills needed for fact-checking and the use of different verification tool, and then will produce articles exposing and challenging distorted media content, including cross-border work on such stories. In addition, 12 critical texts will be published in each of the participating countries, analyzing the practice of particular media, especially those who are inclined to publish disinformation.
